Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
Ring Schedule is run by Christian Rangel ("we", "us"). We collect only what we need to run your account and billing. We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

1. Your judging programs and schedules
- Uploaded PDFs stay on your device. When you upload a judging program, your browser reads it. The file is never sent to us or stored by us.
- Pasted links. When you paste a link, your browser first tries to download the PDF directly from that website. Some superintendent websites block this, so the request then goes through our small link helper running on Cloudflare. It only fetches PDFs from a fixed list of superintendent websites, passes the file straight back to your browser, and doesn't save the file or keep its own record of which links were requested. Cloudflare may briefly cache the public PDF (up to 10 minutes) to speed up repeat requests.
- Your breed picks and schedules are made in your browser and aren't sent to us or saved by us. When you leave or reload the page, they're gone unless you printed or saved them.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a salted, one-way hash, so we can't see them.
- Subscription details: your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan status (for example, on trial, active or canceled), and trial and billing dates. We use these to decide whether you have access.
- Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not us. Our Account page shows the card brand, last four digits and expiry date, which it gets from Stripe when you open it.
- Sign-in session: a random session ID, stored in our database only in hashed form, with its expiry date.
- IP address: used to limit repeated sign-in and sign-up attempts, which protects accounts from abuse.
- Technical logs: like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver and protect the site.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It's marked HttpOnly and Secure, so page scripts can't read it and it's only sent over encrypted connections. Signing out deletes it. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and Ring Schedule doesn't save anything in your browser's local storage. Stripe's checkout and billing pages, which are run by Stripe, use their own cookies for payments and fraud prevention.
4. How we use your information
- to create your account, sign you in and keep it secure;
- to run your free trial and subscription and decide whether you have access;
- to send account and billing messages, such as receipts, trial reminders and important changes;
- to answer your questions and requests;
- to prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We use a few service providers that handle data for us to run Ring Schedule:
- Stripe handles checkout, payments, invoices and the billing page. It receives your email, name and card details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the account database and the link helper.
- Resend delivers our account emails, such as the welcome email and password reset links. It receives your name and email address. See Resend's privacy policy.
- jsDelivr or cdnjs delivers the open-source PDF reader that your browser uses to read programs. Like any website you load files from, it sees your IP address and browser type.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of Ring Schedule. In a sale or transfer, this policy would continue to apply to your information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account details while your account exists. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details from our database. Stripe keeps billing records as long as tax and accounting laws require.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can see your account and billing details on your Account page, and update your card or cancel through Stripe's billing page.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. We may need to confirm it's you first.
- California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, correct and delete personal information. We don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
8. Security
All connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, sessions are stored hashed, and card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
9. Children
Ring Schedule is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. For important changes, we'll also email you.
